Dr Fiona Dann
MSc Chiro, MSc Applied Toxicology, BSc Hons
Detox specialist and Holistic Practitioner.

In her practice Dr Fi looks closely at the function of the body to see what is needed to enable a person to heal. She has found over many years that while people are used to the idea that the mind affects the body and can be a cause of many physical conditions, many people are not able to see or address what is going on and need help. Even more of an issue , however ,has been that what goes on in the body can affect the mind. Dr Fi has dealt with many so called 'mental issues' only to find, when testing the person, that the issue is body based. Many people in todays society have issues such as heavy metal toxicity, leaky gut, adrenal fatigue, chronic infections such as Lyme disease, and less than optimal liver function. These conditions can lead to body, mind or body and mind symptoms.

Treatment with Dr Fi may involve detox formulas, diet changes, body work, flower and gem essences, laser therapy, herb based tinctures, nutritional therapy, lab tests, referral to a dentist for amalgam removal, and lifestyle advice. Each patient has different needs, and Dr Fi tailors the treatment to suit them. Treatment sessions usually are 1-2 hours on the first visit, then 30-60 minutes after that, depending on what needs to be dealt with.

If you want more detail on me....

Dr Fi first trained as a Chiropractor, graduating in 2002 with a first class honours degree and a masters in Chiropractic. She also had trained in kinesiology and cranio-sacral therapy whilst still at college. Early in her career she found that many people, while responding well to chiropractic care, had problems that needed a different approach. These people included autistic and hyperactive children, people with depression, autoimmune disease and fatigue. This lead to further training and development as a Kinesiologist rather than a Chiropractor.

In 2003 she learnt of Dr Tim Ray's work on detox. The focus here was getting heavy metals (mercury, cadmium, lead, arsenic), chemical toxins and mycotoxins (from moulds and yeasts) out of the body so that the body could heal its self. An inevitable part of a practitioner's life is trying everything first to see what it will do. In Dr Fi's case the results were very unexpected. She had improvements in vision, hearing, balance, mathmatical ability, and got rid of her long term depression. Since then Dr Fi has been an advocate of effective heavy metal detox.

Wendy Dunning - Reiki &Seichem Master & Intuitive Healer, NLP Master Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) EFT Practitioner (Emotional Freedom Technique – Tapping) 'The Work' by Byron Katie (Exploring unconscious thinking patterns) 'Learn and Let Go Technique' (Releasing past hurt, trauma & confusion) Inner Child Work, Parts Integration, Designer Positive Affirmations.

My professional journey of discovery began with counselling training; this was followed by a variety of courses which investigated whyand how we do what we do. I have explored and studied the effects that our thinking patterns can have on our personal power, freedom, happiness and physical health. As a therapist I adopt an integrated approach to health which combines many of the tools and techniques I have discovered over the last 15 years, with the intention of allowing my clients to reach their goals and targets as quickly and easily as possible.

I take a meta-medicine approach to physical health issues, looking at the stresses on the body which may lead to blocks in its natural ability to heal itself. I work intuitively with energy, the mind and the body to reach the deeper causes of physical or emotional health issues.

I specialise in supporting people who want to bring their lives or bodies into balance, but are unsure how to go about this. I am open to assisting in working with problems that may have previously appeared impossible to solve.

I am a published author - my accessible yet deep book 'Rhymes of Life – Freedom' is available through Amazon, and at Burbage House Health Clinic.

Following successful Reflexology treatment for my back I learnt that discipline next. Over 11 years later I have built up a thriving business helping people with a wide variety of health problems. In the intervening years I have also qualified in Injury Prevention Massage and this year learnt the exciting new technique of Lava Shell Massage.

Malcolm Soulsby MBACP.
Diploma Therapeutic Counselling
Diploma in Psychotherapy

As a person centred counsellor, my approach is to provide a quiet, non-judgemental and confidential space in which you can explore issues which concern you. These could include relationship issues with friends, family or work colleagues; recent or past bereavements; low self esteem; dealing with stresses in or around you; difficulties related to unhappiness in childhood or as an adult; self harm; depression; anger; anxiety.

There may be times that, whilst family and friends may be around, you may feel isolated or unsure how to move forward. You may feel ‘stuck’ and not know how to deal with a difficult issue. You may be unhappy for no apparent reason. In a therapeutic environment I would offer you the opportunity to explore whatever concerns you may have and help you to find a way to achieve a better understanding of yourself, your feelings, thoughts, and experiences.

My role is not to give advice or tell you what to do, but to help you make choices which may lead to more understanding, acceptance, contentment or fulfilment in your life. My main approach is person centred which can be either short or long term work. I may integrate aspects of other therapies depending on individual clients and the issues involved.

As well as adults, I also have experience of working with children (Sure Start Centres) and young people (Relate).

Vicky Tunaley DSFH AfSFH CNHC
Solution Focused Hypnotherapist
Trance for a Change Hypnotherapy

Vicky first began studying complementary therapies in the year 2000 when she qualified as a Reiki Master. This led to a growing interest in the mind-body connection and a quest to learn about other disciplines. She went on to qualify in Indian Head Massage (2001); Thermal Auricular Therapy (2003); Advanced Dowsing for Health and Stress Release (2003); Meditation (2004); Hypnotherapy (2005) and Swedish Massage (2010).

By utilising a variety of complementary therapies Vicky realised that we have the greatest capacity for health and wellbeing when we work in a holistic way, focusing on mind, body and spirit together.

In 2015 Vicky decided to concentrate in the area of hypnotherapy, recognising the powerful way that this treatment can change people's lives. She therefore retrained in Oxford over a period of ten months, being awarded a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy from the Clifton Practice, Bristol in June 2016. Vicky is now a registered member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH) and the CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Health Care Council), which is an accredited register approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

The Solution Focused approach in hypnotherapy is a new and exciting branch of therapy that combines solution focused psychology with clinical hypnotherapy in a way that creates a very positive, forward looking environment prior to trance taking place. This primes the subconscious mind to search for those things that are highly beneficial to us in order to create the changes we want.

One of Vicky's other passions is creative writing and the therapeutic use of storytelling. From ancient times, long before the invention of books and the written word, the oral tradition of storytelling was used as a way of teaching people about their cultural heritage as well as cultivating morals and values, incorporating wisdom that was required in order for our ancient ancestors to face the challenges of their environments.

Hypnotherapy makes use of the creative power of words to create change at very deep levels. In order to fully harness the power of words and storytelling, Vicky embarked on a two year course with the University of Leicester in 2011, qualifying with a Certificate of Higher Education in Creative Writing (distinction). She is now able to combine the power of metaphorical stories and inventive language patterns in her hypnotherapy practice, drawing on that ancient tradition that pre-dates recorded history.

Cathy Vivian

Cathy has been working as a qualified Bowen therapist since 2001. She belongs to a professional register (BTPR), and is registered with the Complementary Health Care Council (CNHC). After a successful career as an administrative manager in social housing, Cathy trained as a Chiropractor gaining a degree from Oxford Brookes in 1996. When her own health issues with chronic fatigue were helped significantly by Bowen, she changed the focus of her work to concentrate on this therapy.

"I am committed to following Bowen in depth as my experience of it has shown it to be very powerful as a healing tool. Many times I have been amazed at some of the results seen with my own patients and those of fellow therapists. A gentle approach to health can achieve such a lot for everyone, from those with severe health problems to the sports person who wants to be the best they can."

Cathy is interested in how structural balance can affect (and is affected by) mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. She qualified in Neurostructural Integration Technique in 2004 (a Bowen-derived therapy), the Emmett Technique (muscle release) in 2010 and has recently studied Touch For Health Kinesiology. She is always looking for people interested in helping her practice her training.
